    Which Operator Type are you?

    If you are a Private Individual, you will not have a Road Transport Operator Licence. We will validate your name, PPS number and Date of Birth.
    As a Sole Trader you may have a Road Transport Operator Licence. You will also need to provide your PPS number.
    If you operate as a Partnership, one of the Partners will need to supply their PPS number.

    Licensed or Non-licensed Operators

    If you carry goods or passengers for hire and reward then you require a Road Transport Operators Licence. If you only carry your own goods in your own vehicles then you don't need an operators licence. You can find your RTOL number on the disc on your vehicle.
